AtTask Helps Trilliant Become a Leader in Energy Consumption Monitoring and Management, and Project Tracking and Delivery

Background

Trilliant is a Smart Grid communications company that supplies utilities with wireless mesh equipment to enable two-way communication networks throughout the electric grid. Their solutions help utilities deploy Smart Grid networks to improve energy efficiency, integrate renewable resources, and optimize grid operations. With more than twenty years experience solving meter communications needs, Trilliant focuses on the adoption of open standards-based technologies for electric, gas, and water utilities.

The Challenge

Trilliant needed a software solution that would provide complete visibility and accountability for all domestic and international projects. The solution needed to meet new Project Management Professional (PMP) standards and be Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliant.

Trilliant wanted to organize their project management processes and encourage greater communication throughout the workforce. Ideally, a solution that fostered interaction at all levels of the project and allowed individual team members to initiate process improvement was sought. Trilliant also required the software to be easy for their workforce to use.

The Solution

Results

The Trilliant staff has surpassed all target expectations with AtTask; with more than 170 users now actively tracking 100+ projects. The implementation of AtTask has sparked collaborative efforts company wide, through its intuitive user interface and comprehensive and flexible report writer and graphical displays.
