New AtTask Features for Professional & Enterprise

Configure AtTask to Work the Way You Want With New Custom Status Functionality Idea Share Icon

New customizable statuses, priorities, and issues enable organizations to align existing company workflows within AtTask using a simple drag and drop—accelerating adoption success. This was the highest-voted recommendation in the AtTask Community Idea Share. The new customization applies to these seven areas of AtTask:

• Project Status
• Project Priority
• Task Status
• Task Priority
• Issue Status
• Issue Priority
• Issue Severity

Easily adopt your company’s work processes within AtTask.

Customized, color-coded statuses, priorities, and issues can be applied to AtTask reports. (e.g. new, color-coded as blue, is represented as blue on the pie chart).

Access to this feature is available for system administrators through the new Workflow Setup section in the Setup area of AtTask.

New Document Storage Option Provides Expanded Capacity for Centralized Document Sharing and Collaboration

Extended Document Storage provides the following benefits:

• Supports the need to store many, large documents
• Enables more collaboration, without concern for storage limits
• Storage and transmission is secure and encrypted

New AtTask Team Member License Boosts Adoption and Team Productivity Across the Enterprise Idea Share Icon

AtTask’s Team Member license allows companies to cost-effectively streamline collaboration and increase team efficiency among cross-functional project contributors—boosting overall team productivity.

AtTask’s Team Member license enables project team members to:

* Track time and expenses on tasks and projects
* Update task status, including approvals
* Create notes and attach documents to issues, tasks, and projects
* Submit and track issues

New AtTask Enhancements for Professional & Enterprise

New Password Options Enhance System Security

AtTask system administrators now have additional security options for creating passwords—ensuring appropriate levels of system security and access based on customer needs.

Password security options are found in Setup>>System>>Settings>>Preferences>>General Preferences>>Passwords.

New Login Page Style and Login Procedures for Improved Product Usability and Security

The login page style has been improved to enhance look and feel and user experience—making AtTask the most engaging solution on the market.

The new “forgot password” process makes system access easier by allowing users to reset their own password.

AtTask has introduced a configurable lockout policy to ensure additional system security. The lockout period may be customized by the system administrator in Setup>>System>>Settings>>Preferences>>General Preferences>>Passwords.

Unrestricted Resource Visibility for All Project Stakeholders with Resource Grid Export to Excel Idea Share Icon

The Resource Grid can now be exported to an Excel (.xls) file. This provides visibility to resource demand and availability data to any non-AtTask user—both inside and outside the organization.

New Floating Milestone Header Enhances Report Readability and Usability Idea Share Icon

The Project Milestone Report and View now have floating headers to display milestone column headings as users scroll down a page. This feature provides improved report readability and usability.

Streamlined Collaboration with Predecessor Task Notifications

AtTask now issues automatic email notifications to team members when predecessor tasks have been completed. Team members instantly know when to begin work on their assigned tasks, enabling team efficiency and collaboration.

New Centralized Workflow Management Area Streamlines Process Creation

A Workflow section has been added to Setup in AtTask, including everything in the Event Notifications section and the following capabilities:

• Application Events
• Custom Statuses
• Email Templates
• Event Handlers
• Notification Settings
• Reminder Notifications

The new section of AtTask provides a single product pane to configure and customize all AtTask product workflows and will expand to reflect the additional workflow capabilities that will be included in future releases of AtTask.
