July 2009 Release Highlights
Major features included in the July 2009 Release are Single Sign-On, enhancements to the Gantt chart functionality, and new Matrix Reports.
Single Sign-On
The July Update contains a centrally managed Single Sign-On service that easily integrates with your corporate SSO solution. The new feature is easily set up and managed, and is available to both On-Demand and On-Premise Enterprise customers. @task now easily plugs into the most popular SSO solutions, including LDAP servers like Active Directory (with synchronization), and Federated configurations.

Gantt Chart Improvements
The @task Gantt Chart is already extremely powerful and interactive. The July Update delivers dramatic improvements in its capabilities, performance, and usability. |
After multiple tasks have been selected, a “Chain” option is available from the contextual drop down. Users can chain highlighted tasks with one click. This feature speeds up the creation of dependency relationships |
If two users are editing the Gantt Chart at the same time and they change the same information, then both users will be warned. The conflicting information will be displayed and
the user will have the ability to save or discard the changes. |
The Gantt user assignment sidebar has been updated. One tab allows job roles to be assigned to tasks. The other tab assigns users to fill the job roles or to be directly assigned to a task. |

Matrix Reports
Matrix reports
enable the data from a summary aggregate report to be displayed in a matrix. The matrix presentation is more compact, making value comparison
much easier.
