The Business Problem
Micro Memory was looking for a way to capitalize resource expenses on projects. Assigning time to projects with
Project Central, a tool that had been created in-house, required a manual data input to assign hours to specific projects
which made it difficult to collect accurate time and project data.
It was also important to create a centralized location to store and manage project data
for R&D projects. They had previously not used a formalized tool to monitor project accountability.
The Solution
After a two-month search, Micro Memory determined that @task provided the right time
management solution to meet their needs.
@task’s enhanced timesheet functionality and out-of-the-box reporting capabilities provided
exactly what Micro Memory needed. "In less than five minutes, @task allows us to view
critical time to project data that was unavailable to us before," said Dekan.
@task’s full-featured project management and collaboration tools provide the formalized
protocol for managing Micro Memory’s R&D projects, providing the project accountability
they were looking for.
The Result

@task allows Micro Memory to configure custom reports without the need of special programming. "The @task Boot
Camp revealed more functionality than we were originally anticipating," said Dekan. "I found it very simple to configure
reports and dashboards with custom views that give me the information I need at a glance."

How Micro Memory Achieved the Results
Micro Memory currently uses an on-premise installation of @task. "The installation and upgrade process is simple,"
says Dekan. "@task Client Services have been quite responsive and were very helpful with our installation of the
software and every subsequent update after that."
@task’s implementation timeline was significantly shorter than the other solutions Micro Memory was considering. In
less than two months after making the decision to implement @task, they were managing 27 projects with the software.
