to finish on projects managed from numerous locations. Using a mixed bag of tools that included Microsoft
Outlook and e-mail, keeping track of projects and who was assigned to them became increasingly difficult.
MS Project seemed like a natural next step, but the learning curve and training required to bring employees
up to speed was determined prohibitive. Plus, the additional software required in creating a network made MS
Project impractical for Kemper.
