Chad Perry, VP of Business Partners, recently returned from a trip to Melbourne, Australia where he met with one of AtTask's premiere Australian partners, Revolution IT. While there, Perry went on sales calls in Brisbane and Sydney; he found there was a lot of interest in @task. "There is a lot of opportunity for @task in Australia," Perry said. "It's very exciting to have a partner the caliber of Revolution IT to help expand our Australian presence." Perry commented that the trip was very successful, and he will likely be returning in a month.

In the latest release of @task, projects were given a few extra features to help you manage and report on them. In addition to the portfolio values feature explained in last month's newsletter, you now have the ability to define who the project owner is and create and manage requested projects.

Project Owner
While editing or creating a project under the Related Information tab, there is now the option to set a Project Owner. This feature comes with the ability to set access levels based on the project owner, some added event notifications specific to project owners, and reporting capability based on who has ownership of projects.

New Project Status
Have a project that you would like to request or propose? Would you like to allow users to make project requests? Now you can not only request a project, but also fully manage those requests. Projects can now be set to "Requested" while editing or creating the project in the Project Details tab inside the Status dropdown menu. Once projects have been submitted as "Requested," a whole new set of statuses becomes available to enable you to manage those project requests, including

This new feature empowers you as the decision-maker to fully collect, manage, and report on the full life of all projects and project ideas.
