AtTask Reveals Brand New Website with New Look and Feel
OREM, Utah – September 13, 2007 — AtTask, Inc., the leading provider of on-demand project and portfolio management software, has revealed an all new website that reflects a more powerful and more seasoned intelligent business solution.
Chad Jardine, Marketing Director for AtTask, said, “Our mission is to make life easier for our customers. The new website makes it fun to get the information you need to make an informed project management software decision and be comfortable about it. You don't need a project management degree to understand just what's so cool about having this software in your company.” AtTask’s web developer, Eric Berry, said, “Not only has the website’s content been updated, but so has its core architecture; the site was developed with Ruby on Rails, which provides AJAX support and agile development, ultimately making the site more flexible and more robust.” When deciding to update their website, AtTask’s number one goal was to ensure that the new site presented a fresh look that better reflects the company’s forward-thinking attitude; in addition, they wanted the site to reflect their motto of “work smart, work happy.” The new site infuses humor throughout to take some of the “seriousness” out of project management. “Project management has always been considered such a serious affair,” said Scott Johnson, CEO. “We want our customers to know that while @task is a powerful software tool that will dramatically increase their efficiency and productivity, we don’t take ourselves too seriously.” Included in AtTask’s updated website are an updated demo with information on its latest release, @task Enterprise; information on SalesForce.com and MS Outlook integrations, as well as SDKs; a screenshot tour; an impressive feature list; updated company information; detailed explanations of @task’s professional services; tips for adoption success; user support forums; and much more helpful and interesting information about @task. @task provides a platform-, database-, and browser-independent solution that can be implemented either on-premise or SaaS. The SaaS offering has a 30-day free trial that also includes one-on-one consulting with a project management professional.
