Scott Johnson, CEO

Scott Johnson, CEO and founder of AtTask, is an accomplished business leader with more than fifteen years of experience working with technology companies. Johnson started AtTask in 2001 with the goal of creating a robust, collaborative software solution for project management. Since its inception, AtTask has grown into the leading provider of on-demand project and portfolio management software worldwide.

An acknowledged expert in project management, Johnson is also an engaging speaker and consultant to businesses and organizations that want to maximize their resources and focus efforts on initiatives that best accomplish organizational and financial goals. Johnson has been featured in such publications as CIO Magazine, Business Management Magazine, PM Network, and Business Week.

Nate Bowler, CTO

Nate Bowler has been with AtTask as a partner and co-founder since 2002. As Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Bowler is responsible for the product management, software architecture, and operations roles for the company. He brings over 14 years of software development management experience working with customers in the delivery of products that solve business needs.

Prior to AtTask, Bowler managed Excite@Home’s AT&T Small Business Hosting engineering team. In addition to his role as software development manager, Bowler served as lead engineer for many products including e-commerce store building tools and payment gateway technology developed in partnership with First Data Corporation. Bowler has also been a consultant in the development of web-based HR management and 360 degree feedback solutions for Hewlett Packard, Cisco Systems, Amoco Corp, and Nortel Networks while at Novations Group.

Bowler holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.

Kevin Hayden, CMO

Kevin Hayden, AtTask’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), recently of BEA Systems, Interwoven, and EnterConnect, will direct all of AtTask’s global marketing, including marketing strategy, positioning, demand generation, corporate communications, industry analyst relations, brand marketing, and media relations. Hayden’s background spans over 20 years of executive marketing experience in managing both public and private high-tech companies through periods of rapid growth and positioning them for success.

Hayden holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a Masters Degree in Finance from Bentley College in Waltham, MA. He is also a member of the CMO Council.

Michael Olson, CFO

With over thirteen years of financial management experience in software, hardware, and manufacturing, Michael Olson is responsible for the overall financial direction and strategy of AtTask as well as the legal and human resource departments. Olson joins AtTask from inthinc, inc., The SCO Group, and Arthur Anderson.

Olson holds a Bachelors Degree in Finance and a Masters Degree in Accounting from Utah State University.

Jackie Golden, Vice President Global Professional Services

Jackie Golden, AtTask’s Vice President of Global Professional Services, joins AtTask with a proven record of managing professional services organizations for many successful software companies including Hyperion, Cognos, and Ascential/IBM, that exceeded revenue targets and profitability goals.  Golden will serve a key role in improving AtTask’s level of customer service, enabling organizations worldwide to be more efficient and productive.

Golden holds and Executive M.B.A. in business from San Diego State University.

Joseph Cardenas

Joseph Cardenas has headed information technology for several leading high-tech corporations and served as CIO for major corporations in financial services and manufacturing.

As CIO for Employers Direct Insurance, Cardenas was instrumental in preparing the company for a successful sale that was consummated in 2008. Returning to Employers Direct from Salesforce.com, Mr. Cardenas remains CIO.

As SVP and CIO of Salesforce.com Cardenas was responsible for establishing a globally standardized IT function, outsourcing non-core processes, extensive use of SaaS technology (both Salesforce.com and other leading SaaS vendors) and developing all new processes and documentation that enabled Salesforce.com to pass first year Sarbanes Oxley compliance.

Before joining Salesforce.com, Cardenas was a founding management member of Employers Direct Insurance Company as EVP and Chief Information Officer (CIO), Vice President and Global CIO of Autodesk, the fourth largest PC software company in the world, Senior Vice President and CIO of Fremont Compensation Insurance Group, and Vice President of Information Technology for Oracle Corporation. He has also held information technology positions with Transamerica Insurance, NCR, Hyatt Hotels, and Wells Fargo Bank.

Scott Maxwell

Scott Maxwell is founder and Senior Managing Director of OpenView Venture Partners.  Prior to OpenView, Maxwell was Managing Director at Insight Venture Partners, having joined Insight in 2000.  Maxwell was previously a partner at Putnam Investments where he was the Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer of the Global Equity Division at Lehman Brothers, and as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.

Maxwell graduated from M.I.T. with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (Sigma Xi) and an MBA from M.I.T. Sloan School of Management.  He also has a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.

Firas Raouf

Firas Raouf is a Venture Partner at OpenView Venture Partners.  Prior to joining OpenView, Firas was a Venture Partner at Insight Venture Partners.  Prior, Firas was the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of eEye Digital Security—an Insight portfolio company.  As a member of the senior executive team and board member, Firas focused on eEye’s sales and marketing operations driving growth year after year.  Firas was previously a senior consultant at Booz Allen & Hamilton and a member of the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Group at Eli Lilly & Company where he was responsible for the research, development, and deployment of new process technologies.

Raouf holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering from Northeastern University and a Masters of Engineering Management from the Thayer School at Dartmouth College.
