Running @task as a Service

If you install @task on a Windows computer, you can run @task as a service. This option has many advantages, including allowing @task to run on a computer without a user having to log in.

To start @task as a Windows service
1. Open the following file:

..\install\InstallAtTaskService.bat

N O T E : When running @task as a service, if you stop the service, it may take a few minutes to restart.

To update the Windows Service
1. Stop the service.
2. Uninstall the service from the command line. NOTE: Uninstallation must be done from the command line.
3. Reinstall with the update.
